Parking is available for all participants but to
help you plan your day
it is important to keep in mind the following:
The parking lots nearest to the Start/Finish line fill up first.
The furthest parking lot (the Rifle Range lot) is approximately
a mile from the start line. If you park in this lot you will need
to leave yourself time to "warm up" and get to the starting
line area by 9:00 a.m.
The Park Rangers close the course for the full duration of the
race. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will cars be allowed to leave the
parking lots until the Park Rangers re-open the roads. It is our
experience that as the last runners pass the course's 3 mile marker,
the parking lots located beyond that marker are opened up and
cars from those distant lots are allowed to leave. This usually
occurs between 11:00 - 11:30 a.m.
